New details have emerged about the iOS 19 version, which will be introduced at Apple’s WWDC 2025 event in June. According to the latest information, the company is working on a feature that will make connecting to open Wi-Fi networks easier.
iOS 19 will improve the Wi-Fi experience
With iOS 19, devices connected to the Apple ecosystem will be able to connect to a common Wi-Fi network faster. Thanks to the new feature, it is enough to connect only one of multiple devices paired with the same account to an open Wi-Fi network.
Then, all other devices can automatically access this connection. In this way, there will be no need to repeatedly register, log in or perform network verification.
This function aims to improve the user experience, especially in environments where Wi-Fi networks are frequently used, such as cafes, libraries, campuses and airports. Although no official statement has been made by Apple, the innovation is expected to provide significant convenience for multi-device users.
iOS 19 is expected to be one of the most comprehensive system updates Apple has developed in recent years. The version, which is planned to be introduced at WWDC 2025, will be available to all users in September or October.
With this update, important innovations will also be made to the macOS, visionOS, iPadOS, watchOS and tvOS platforms. So what do you think about this? You can easily share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
