iOS 26.0.1 released: Here’s what’s new

Ana sayfa / News

Apple released the first interim update for its iOS 26 operating system today. The new version, iOS 26.0.1, addresses various bugs and connectivity issues users have been experiencing in recent weeks.

The update addresses numerous technical issues, including connection interruptions, photo quality degradation, and accessibility issues, experienced on the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone Air. This update, which follows the release of iOS 26 two weeks ago, demonstrates Apple’s rapid response to unexpected software issues.

According to Apple’s statement, some users experienced difficulty connecting to cellular networks after upgrading to iOS 26. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections were also reported to be disconnecting spontaneously.

Unwanted image distortion was observed on iPhone 17 series devices, particularly in photos taken in certain lighting conditions. This update also addresses the issue of app icons appearing blank when using special color filters. Among the fixes is the issue of VoiceOver being disabled for some users after the update.

iOS 26 was tested by developers and the general public during the beta phase. However, the real-world usage period, during which Apple can collect more extensive data, begins in the weeks following the update. Therefore, similar fixes are expected to be released again in the coming days.

It’s common for software versions shipped with new iPhone models to initially encounter such issues due to limited testing capacity. iOS 26.0.1 is now available to iPhone users. Apple recommends all users install this update.
