iOS 26 has completely revamped the iPhone’s camera app!

Ana sayfa / News

Apple implemented an important change that it did not discuss at the WWDC25 event but directly affects the user experience with iOS 26. The iPhone Camera application has been completely renewed after a long hiatus. The new interface makes taking photos and videos more fluid, while also making it easier to access advanced camera settings.

The main screen of the Camera application now prioritizes Photo and Video modes. Other shooting options such as Cinematic, Portrait and Slow Motion have been placed in tabs that can be accessed by swiping the screen right or left.

This simplification allows faster switching between shooting modes. Within each mode, the screen can be swiped up to access relevant technical settings such as Exposure, Timer and Aperture. This structure preserves the functionality of the application while saving the user from dealing with complex menus.

Resolution and frame rate settings have been moved to the top of the screen, along with Night Mode and Flash toggles. Long-pressing these icons opens the relevant configuration options. The new layout allows faster and more intuitive control of the settings needed in professional shooting.

With this revision to the Camera app, Apple aims to provide easier access to advanced tools while also reducing visual clutter. The new interface includes functional changes, especially for users who use multiple modes and settings.

However, the renewed app is only available in the iOS 26 developer beta version. What do you think about this? You can share your views with us in the comments section below.
