At the iPhone 17 launch, Apple officially announced that Turkish language support will soon be coming to Apple Intelligence. This development means that AI features will be available to iPhone users in Turkey. These new features, which will arrive with the iOS 26 update, due for release on September 15th, will radically change the phone’s user experience.
iOS 26 introduces brand new AI features
iOS 26 introduces the new Adaptive Power Mode, which works in conjunction with Low Power Mode to extend battery life. This AI-powered feature automatically makes minor performance adjustments when battery usage is higher than normal.
Adaptive Power Mode runs in the background without the harsh restrictions of Low Power Mode, helping the device last longer. However, when the battery charge drops to 20 percent, the classic Low Power Mode returns.
The new Live Translation feature works in the Messages, FaceTime, and Phone apps. This feature instantly translates conversations between people speaking or texting in different languages. Live Translate, which supports languages such as English, Chinese, French, German, and Italian, provides real-time translation with an AI voice during phone calls and displays translated subtitles during FaceTime calls. Both parties must have an Apple Intelligence-enabled device to take advantage of this feature.
With iOS 26, Visual Translation enhances interaction with content on the iPhone screen. New “Ask a Question” and “Image Search” buttons now appear when you take a screenshot. With “Ask a Question,” you can ask ChatGPT questions about the content in the screenshot.
Visual Search allows you to search platforms like Google Images and Etsy by selecting a specific item in the screenshot. Visual Intelligence also detects dates in the screenshot and offers intelligent suggestions, such as adding them directly to the Calendar app.
Apple has also updated the Image Playground app. The quality of the images created with the app’s Animation, Sketch, and Illustration styles has been improved. Faces, eyes, and hair, in particular, appear more natural and realistic.
ChatGPT’s image creation tools have also been integrated into Image Playground, but this feature requires a ChatGPT subscription. The new Genmoji feature makes it possible to create new emoji characters by combining two or more emojis.
iOS 26 also powers the Reminders app with AI. The app can now identify and categorize related actions in emails, websites, or notes. It also allows you to quickly add reminders from Siri Suggestions.
Shortcuts have gained new features thanks to Apple Intelligence support. New shortcuts are now available for actions like summarizing text with the writing tools, creating images with Image Playground, and typing text.
To take advantage of the new Apple Intelligence features in iOS 26, you need a compatible device. The iPhone 15 Pro and all later models support these features.
