iPad mini 7 lacks a critical feature of iPadOS: Why?

Ana sayfa / Tablets

Last week, Apple introduced the iPad Mini 7, which features the A17 Pro processor, support for Apple Pencil Pro, and four new Smart Folio case options. However, despite all these features, it lacks a very important capability. Here are the details…

iPad Mini 7 Does Not Have Stage Manager Feature

Despite its powerful hardware, Apple’s eagerly awaited new iPad Mini 7 model is missing an important software feature. Equipped with the A17 Pro processor and 8GB of RAM, the new tablet does not support the beloved Stage Manager multitasking system.

Introduced with iPadOS 16, Stage Manager offers a desktop-like working experience on iPads. This feature allows users to use multiple apps simultaneously in flexible windows. However, Apple’s smallest tablet, despite having the necessary hardware features, cannot take advantage of this feature.

Experts suggest that the only logical explanation for this situation could be the iPad Mini’s 8.3-inch screen size. However, considering that the device can smoothly run the existing Split Screen feature, it is unclear why Stage Manager support has not been provided.

Apple’s new tablet stands out with its powerful A17 Pro processor, enhanced Apple Pencil support, and new Smart Folio cases available in four different colors. However, the lack of Stage Manager is a significant disadvantage, especially for productivity-focused users.
