Titanium frame failed in iPhone 14 Pro vs 15 Pro drop test! Here is that video

Apple, the biggest name in the smartphone world, was on the agenda of the industry again by introducing the iPhone 15 series on September 12. The device, which attracted great attention in pre-sales, is on sale in the USA and Europe as of today. Videos about the series also started to arrive.

iPhone 15 Pro titanium frame causes glass cracks

In a content published on the AppleTrack channel , the drop test of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro models was carried out. In the content, both models were dropped from the same height many times at the same time. As the number of falls increased, the difference between the two models became apparent. Here is the video;

As it is known, Apple covered some parts of the iPhone 15 Pro models with titanium, which is light and very durable. The edges of the iPhone 14 Pro are covered with stainless steel, while the edges of the iPhone 15 Pro are covered with titanium. In the drop test in the video content, the stainless steel edge on the iPhone 14 Pro absorbs most of the impacts. Even though it is scratched, it seems to protect the phone in general.

The titanium frame of the iPhone 15 Pro model does not live up to expectations. The titanium strip remains quite durable during falls. However, as it deflects the impact from itself, cracks appear on the front and back panels.
