The eyes of the smartphone world have turned to the iPhone 15 series, which will be introduced a month later. While Apple is making the final touches for the series, it is also working on the iPhone 16, which it will launch next year.
iPhone 16 camera will have a stacked camera sensor design
As it is known, Apple attaches importance to the camera in iPhone series. So much so that the company is making camera improvements in each series. So much so that according to the claims, Apple will include a 1-inch Sony IMX903 sensor in the iPhone 15 Pro Max model. In addition, the company will use a periscope lens in Pro models.
Leaks started to come in iPhone 16. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, who makes news about Apple products, the iPhone 16 camera will feature a stacked rear camera sensor design. The rumored iPhone 16 series will feature a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera and improvements to the telephoto and ultra-wide camera lenses. It will also have an eight-piece hybrid lens consisting of two glass and six plastic lenses.
On the other hand, screens will get bigger in the iPhone 16 series. According to the information that has emerged in the past weeks, the iPhone 16 Ultra will come with a 6.9-inch screen. In addition, Apple analyst Mark Gurman stated that iPhone 16 standard models will be 6.3 inches.
According to some claims, Apple will hide the Face ID sensor of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max models under the screen. However, it is stated that the camera will remain visible for a while as in other Android phones. Thus, iPhone models may appear with only a small camera hole on the screen.
