iQOO 12 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC
We already know that the upcoming flagship smartphone will get its power from Qualcomm’s latest powerful mobile platform, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Also, the company has confirmed these rumors, so it will be the second phone to use the newest chipset. Moreover, the brand said that the phone will feature a 2K 144Hz Samsung E7 AMOLED screen.
Compared to its predecessor, the iQOO 12 series with E6 screen, the iQOO 12 Pro will have the E7 AMOLED screen with a curved screen design. Additionally, it will have a curved back and frame, while the iQOO 12 comes with a flat screen design with a flat form.
When we look at the back of the phone, we can see that it will feature oval camera modules. Moreover, it will come with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. Also, iQOO has confirmed that the phone will have a Q1 self-developed gaming chip for the series, and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage options.
According to the official announcements, the iQOO 12 series will launch on November 7th, and it will be available in White Legend Edition and Black Track Edition with AG glass back and a Red color with a leather-like finish.
