iQOO Pad 2 Pro will be the first tablet powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
iQOO revealed significant features of the new tablet series with a poster released today. The Pad 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, featuring one Cortex-X4, four Cortex-A720, and three Cortex-A520 cores, making it the first tablet to use this processor. The other device in the series, the Pad 2 Pro, will come with the Dimensity 9300+, featuring one Cortex-X4, three Cortex-X4, and four Cortex-A720 cores, making it the first tablet to use this processor.
In the announcements made by the company, it was confirmed that the iQOO Pad 2 will feature a 12.1-inch LCD panel with 2.8K resolution and up to 600 nits of brightness. The Pad 2 Pro will feature a 13.1-inch panel with 3.1K resolution and up to 900 nits of brightness. Both tablets will have a 144Hz display.
Another confirmed feature is the battery size. The iQOO Pad 2 will use a 10,000 mAh battery offering 11.5 hours of battery life, while the Pad 2 Pro will use an 11,500 mAh battery offering 14.8 hours of battery life. The new tablet series will have a 3D cooling system, Ray Tracing technology support, and Monster+ mode.
The standard model offers up to 12GB of memory and up to 512GB of storage, while the Pro model offers up to 16GB of memory and up to 512GB of storage. The tablets, expected to be available in Grey, Silver, and Blue color options, may be introduced on May 31.
