Vivo sub-brand iQOO announced that it will launch the company’s first tablet, iQOO Pad, on May 23 in China. While there is just one day ahead of the official announcement, a tipster has released a live shot of the tablet on a Chinese social platform. According to the leaked images, the upcoming tablet will have a similar design to the Vivo Pad 2, which was announced a few months ago. Here are the details about the leaked images and expected specs of the iQOO Pad…
iQOO Pad will offer 12GB + 512GB configuration
In the leaked images, we can see the two devices, vivo Pad 2 and iQOO Pad. However, if the images show the truth, there are no key differences between the devices, except for the chipset. The company confirmed the iQOO Pad will have a 12.1-inch screen, and will be powered by a Dimensity 9000+ SoC. According to the leaks, the upcoming tablet will offer 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage configuration.
Moreover, the images show that the iQOO Pad will have the same cover keyboard and stylus as Vivo’s tablet, and it will run OriginOS 3 for Pad-based Android 13. According to the earlier reports, the tablet will be available in four variants, and the leaks confirm the 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage model.
The iQOO’s first tablet will come with a 12.1-inch IPS LCD 2.8K 144Hz display, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 10,000mAh battery with 44W charging rate. Additionally, the leaks claim that the pad might have a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
We can assume that the iQOO Pad will have a similar price tag to the vivo Pad 2. Therefore, the upcoming tablet might cost CNY3,399 (about $500) for the 12/512GB version.
