vivo announced iQOO Z7 with Snapdragon 782G
The Chinese phone manufacturer just unveiled the new Z7 and Z7x in China. However, it seems that the Z7 comes with a few same specifications as the Z6 Pro. A difference between the devices is the processor, while the Z7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G, the Z6 Pro had the Snapdragon 778G(+). On the other hand, we saw that the brand announced the Z7i as the first phone with Dimensity 6020.
The iQOO Z7 comes with 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage options. However, the phone’s storage is not expandable. While the Z7 runs Android 13-based OriginOS 13 out of the box, it supports virtual RAM of up to 8GB via the operating system. On the display side, it features a 6.64-inch diagonal LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10.
On the back, the iQOO Z7 comes with a 64-megapixel main (f/1.8 lens with OIS) and a 2-megapixel depth camera. It has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with face unlock on the front. Additionally, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
In terms of battery, the company improves the new version with a major upgrade. Now, the Z7 comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The phone is now available on vivo’s Chinese online store, and it costs CNY 1,600 ($235/€215/₹19,000) for the 8GB/128GB model. The phone costs CNY 2,000 for the 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage variant.
