iQOO Z7i is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6020
One of the most significant features of the new Z7i is its chipset. The new device gets its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 with 5G support. According to the official website, the latest chipset offers 28% energy efficiency improvement and 32% performance improvement than its predecessors. Additionally, the iQOO Z7i comes with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage options.
On the display side, the Z7i features a 6.51-inch LCD of 720p resolution Color Eye Protection Display. The company says, “Lively large screen, comfortable care, vivid screen, full screen so immersive.” In terms of camera, it has a 13-megapixel f/2.2 main, a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera on the back, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
While the phone runs Android 13-based OriginOS Ocean, it has a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging. The brand claims that the battery can last up to 17.2 hours for watching the video, up to 7.9 hours while playing big games, and up to 23.5 hours for browsing the web.
The iQOO Z7i is now available in China in Moon Shadow Black and Ice Lake Blue color options. The 4/128 GB variant costs CNY949 ($137/€128), the 6/128 GB is CNY999 ($145/€135), and the 8/128 GB is priced at CNY 1,099 ($160/€150). The phone will be on sale on March 20 in China.
