Exciting leaks have emerged about Nintendo’s long-awaited new console. If the leaks are true, the Nintendo Switch 2, or “Nintendo Superior,” will feature brand new hardware features. According to the leaks, this model will feature magnetic Joy-Cons, analog triggers, and a larger screen.
Nintendo Switch 2: Could Come With Magnetic Joy-Con and Steam Deck-like Trigger Buttons
First of all, the magnetic Joy-Cons are a very interesting innovation. The Joy-Cons we have seen so far were attached to the console with a mechanical lock system, but this model could offer an easier and more solid connection with a magnetic structure. It is also stated that the Joy-Cons have a “groove” in their design, which will make them sit more comfortably in your hand. If this is true, the Joy-Cons will feel more ergonomic in the hand.
Another striking feature is the analog trigger buttons. According to the leaks, these trigger buttons will be similar to those on the Steam Deck, meaning they will offer more precise control. This feature can make a big difference, especially in racing games or shooters. The Pro Controller is said to have a trigger mechanism similar to those on the PlayStation 5.
As for the display, leaks claim that the Switch 2’s display will be 7 inches or larger, meaning a similar size to the current Switch OLED model, but perhaps with thinner bezels.
However, let’s not forget that this information is not official yet. Leaks from anonymous sources like 4chan are not always reliable. Nintendo has not made an official statement yet, so for now it is useful to evaluate this information as exciting speculation.
