Dust-free solar panel eliminates dirt problem!

Ana sayfa / News

The Chinese solar technology company LONGi has produced a dust-free solar panel that eliminates the problem of dirt accumulation. These revolutionary panels will increase the efficiency of solar energy, enhancing clean and sustainable energy production and usage. Here are all the details about the new panels…

LONGi’s dust-free solar panel brings the technology of the future to today. The Hi-MO X6 Guardian module is specially designed to prevent dust and dirt accumulation, unlike regular panels. The short-edge frame design used in these panels allows rainwater to flow off the panels easily, preventing dust accumulation on the edges.

Additionally, small drainage slots within the frames ensure that even excess water is drained away from the panels. Brett Robinson, the national sales manager of LONGi Solar Australia, stated that this new module was introduced at the Smart Energy Council Conference and Expo 2024.

Can solar panels be installed on a balcony? Here’s the answer

If you want to bring solar energy to your home, installing solar panels on a balcony can be a good option. Here's what you need to know...

Robinson says, “Our customers were very bothered by dust accumulation. With this module, we completely solved this problem.” A global customer satisfaction survey revealed that one of the biggest concerns for solar panel owners was the accumulation of dirt and dust. The Hi-MO X6 Guardian Anti-Dust module has completely addressed this issue.

This groundbreaking dust-free solar panel not only stays clean but also offers top-level performance and efficiency. Thanks to back contact technology, the metal strips carrying electricity are placed behind the panel, allowing sunlight to reach the entire panel unobstructed.

LONGi’s R&D team states that this new technology provides 6% more power compared to standard modules. More sunlight absorption by the solar panels will reduce energy bills and decrease the amount of heat-trapping gases caused by fossil fuels in the atmosphere.

LONGi conducted extensive research and testing to develop these panels. The anti-dust modules underwent 1,000 reliability tests and more than 500 days of field evaluation. These rigorous testing processes ensured the reliability and performance of the panels.

LONGi aims to achieve 100% renewable electricity supply annually by 2028 and to bring green energy and green hydrogen projects to developing countries. In March, the company introduced the 440-watt anti-fingerprint Ultra Black module to the Australian residential market, making progress towards this vision step by step.

In summary, LONGi’s dust-free solar panels represent a significant advancement in clean energy production. For more detailed information about LONGi’s work, you can visit their website here. What do you think about this innovation? You can share your thoughts in the comments section below.
