One of the successful names in the smartphone market, Samsung, is about to launch the highly anticipated Galaxy A26 model for consumers. While there haven’t been many reports about the device so far, this has now changed. The Galaxy A26 has appeared in performance tests.

The Galaxy A26, with the model number SM-A266B, has appeared on Geekbench. The smartphone managed to score 3,061 points in the tests. Along with this, some key technical specifications of the model have indirectly been revealed.

The chipset that will power the Galaxy A26 is the Exynos 1280. This 5 nm architecture chipset features 2x 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 cores and 6x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, along with a Mali-G68 GPU.

A prototype tested was equipped with 6 GB of RAM. However, different memory options might be introduced during the official launch. Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that the device will run Android 15 right out of the box.

These are the details revealed about the smartphone so far. However, the specs of its predecessor, the Galaxy A25, might give us some insight. As known, last year’s device featured a 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and 2 MP macro sensor. Additionally, it had a 5,000 mAh battery that supported 25W charging.

Although not confirmed, the upcoming Galaxy A26 might come with minor improvements or similar specifications compared to the A25. Of course, these are just assumptions. Future reports will likely clear up any questions.
