Apple, one of the important names in the technology world, partners with suppliers in China, India and South Korea for its devices, including iPhone and iPad. However, recent rumors suggest that Apple is on track to offer a notch-less full-screen iPhone. Here are the details!
Under-screen camera technology may come in 2025!
Apple comes to the fore with various claims about every device it is preparing to launch. One of the claims that comes to the fore every year is that Apple is preparing a full-screen iPhone. However, according to the latest news, this may not be impossible.
Allegedly, Apple is turning to LG’s innovative technologies for the next generation iPhones . Apple, which attracted attention with the iPhone 15 series introduced last September , is taking a further step this time and collaborating with LG Innotek . The resulting reports prove this.
According to reports, LG Innotek has joined Apple’s supply chain with its notch-less display technology. This step attracted attention with the developments in under-screen camera (UDC) technology. While UDC technologies struggle with image distortion and light efficiency problems today, LG’s “Freeform Optic” lens aims to overcome these problems.
According to LG, this lens will have multiple surfaces with a free curve shape. In this way, it is stated that light transmittance will increase to 40 percent after 2024. However, it will take time to see iPhone models with this technology.
Last year, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the full-screen iPhone model would come with iPhone 16. However, after all these rumors, the full-screen transition is expected to be released in 2025. It is also claimed that the iPhone 17 Pro, which is expected to be released in 2025 , will first place FaceID technology under the screen.
