MediaTek Dimensity 9400 is much more powerful than its predecessor with its features
MediaTek Dimensity 9400 was introduced as a full flagship if we look at the details. The processor, which is much more powerful than the previous model Dimensity 9300, stands out with its performance, artificial intelligence capabilities, and gaming features.
The processor, which is offered with advanced efficiency, brings the second generation All Big Core design. MediaTek Dimensity 9400, a processor with a total of eight cores, including 3.62GHz Arm Cortex-X925, three Cortex-X4, and four Cortex-A720, was produced with TSMC’s 3nm production process.
The new processor, which is 40 per cent more efficient and offers long battery life compared to 9300, draws attention with its eighth generation NPU feature. Thanks to this feature, more advanced artificial intelligence features can be offered. Dimensity 9400, which is stated to be the first mobile processor capable of producing high-resolution video, can offer 80 per cent faster wide language model.
As for game performance, it can offer 40 per cent faster ray tracing performance thanks to the 12-core Arm Immortalis-G925 graphics unit. It was also announced that the processor has a 320 megapixel camera sensor and 8K60 video capability.
The first devices to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor will be the vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini, which will be announced in China on 14 October. Later, OPPO Find X8 is expected to be powered by this chipset.
