Apple will officially unveil the iPhone 15 series and iOS 17 interface at the Wonderlust event on September 12. However, one day before the event, an update was released that will delight iOS 15 users. So what does the iOS 15.7.9 package offer?
iOS 15.7.9 update is now available
Apple is trying to keep millions of users up to date with iOS 17 Beta and stable versions of iOS 16. Finally, a new package was distributed for devices using iOS 15. In addition to iOS 15.7.9; iPadOS 15.7.9, macOS 12.6.9 and macOS 11.7.10 versions are also available in this package.
It should be noted that there are no new features with the iOS 15.7.9 update. Although Apple has not shared a detailed explanation, it is thought that some security vulnerabilities have been fixed for users.
If you are still using an iPhone based on iOS 15, you can download the new package by following Settings > General > Software Update. If the update is not yet visible, it will be automatically available in the next few days.
According to the latest research, 81 percent of iPhone models are currently using iOS 16. iOS 15 rate has dropped to around 15 percent. It should be noted that iOS 16 is supported on iPhone 8 or higher devices.
Let us remind you that iOS 17, iPadOS 17, iPhone 15 series and more will be unveiled with the event to be held on Tuesday, September 12.
