It has been approximately 3 years since the introduction of KIA’s SUV model, the Sorento. The South Korean manufacturer has now given the SUV model a facelift as it started to show signs of aging. The first images of the refreshed SUV model have been shared in South Korea.
The refreshed KIA Sorento greets with its new face
The first noticeable detail when examining the refreshed KIA Sorento is the changed front end. The SUV now features boomerang-shaped headlights, bringing it in line with the brand’s new face, while retaining its tiger-nose front grille. The KIA logo on the front grille has been moved to the hood.
At the rear, changes are more limited. The two-piece taillights are now connected from the upper section with new LED graphics. Additionally, the reverse light has been moved to the lower part of the bumper during the renewal operation.
Looking inside the cabin, we encounter more significant changes. The refreshed model now incorporates two 12.3-inch digital screens. The curved arrangement of the dual screens adds a more technological touch to the interior, and the full-length air vents look quite stylish.
Below the air vents on the center console, there is a touch control surface. The renewed vehicle also features ambient lighting on the door panels, creating a different atmosphere within the cabin.
The new KIA Sorento will be available for sale in South Korea in August. However, no announcement has been made yet for other markets. What are your thoughts on the refreshed KIA Sorento? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.
