The Italian car manufacturer Lancia announced new plans to produce three electric vehicles between 2024 and 2028. The company is being reborn as an EV-only brand. According to the announcements, the brand is planning to produce new vehicles starting in 2024. Lancia will produce a new Ypsilon, a new Delta, and an unnamed “new flagship” between 2024 and 2028. Here are the details about Lancia’s reborn.

Lancia will produce exclusive Electric Vehicles

The Italian car company is owned by Stellantis group which includes Fiat, Chrysler, Citroën, Vauxhall, and Peugeot. Lancia aims to be an EV-only company. According to the rumors, the company will launch exclusive electric vehicles, but the claims say that the brand will sell a single car (the Ypsilon) in a single market (Italy.)

Additionally, Lancia plans to get a new logo, the eighth in its 116-year-long history. The car brand has used its recent design since 1957, and now the company changes the logo.

Lancia has also announced a new design language to guide the creation of the upcoming three cars. The brand builds a new physical sculpture to present the “three-dimensional manifesto.” Lancia’s CEO Luca Napolitano explains the sculpture, “Lancia Pu+Ra Zero, a work of art in which the past and the future are in continuous contact, in which elegance is balanced with the radical spirit of forms.”

Some car editors claim that the brand could produce the new vehicles on Stellantis’ STLA small electric platform. The car group also uses this platform in the production of the Peugeot e-208 and Vauxhall Corsa Electric.
