Last call for Windows 10 from Microsoft!

Ana sayfa / Windows

Microsoft continues to invite users to Windows 11. In this context, it has prepared a page pointing out that Windows 10 support will end very soon. The company gives clearer warnings by saying that the operating system will not be updated.

Microsoft’s homepage now has three main tabs for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. These tabs show when support for the operating systems will be discontinued and other details. Windows 7 and 8.1 are currently not receiving updates. Windows 10 will not be supported from October 14, 2025.

This will be the last day for security updates and technical assistance for the operating system. Windows 10 will continue to run on PCs, but new features and security packages will not be available.

Microsoft recommends upgrading devices to Windows 11 to address post-support security concerns. In this context, it tells users in detail how to migrate their data and accounts from Windows 10 to the new operating system.

On the other hand, support for businesses will continue. Microsoft, which provides security updates to companies by selling paid subscriptions, also recommends that business PCs upgrade to Windows 11.

Still, Microsoft recognizes that some users will remain on Windows 10 and recommends backing up files to OneDrive to avoid any problems. It seems possible that applications will also stop support for Windows 10 in the near future.
