The legendary fighting game series is preparing to return with Mortal Kombat 1. The iconic game, which was previously showcased with a gameplay video, is now introducing new characters each passing day. In the latest released trailer, three new characters are waiting for us, just like before.
Welcoming back the old Mortal Kombat characters
As we approach the release date of September 19 for Mortal Kombat 1, we have been receiving new information almost every week. Most recently, a new trailer was released, announcing the return of three characters from the past.
Starting with Reptile, one of the main characters of the series, who we haven’t seen since his introduction in Mortal Kombat X back in 2015. We can see that our nimble character, resembling a ninja, has been beautifully interpreted in the game as a monster that spews acid.
Havik and Ashrah, who first appeared 19 years ago in Mortal Kombat: Deception, also surprised us with their return. Our characters from Mortal Kombat: Armageddon in 2006 are coming back with the new Mortal Kombat game.
Havik, a warrior from the Chaosrealm, stands out with his ability to use his own limbs as weapons. On the other hand, Ashrah, who seeks to cleanse the world of evil by forsaking her demonic origins, appears to be quite appealing with her unique style. We should warn that both Reptile and Ashrah’s scenes are quite bloody.
