Xiaomi has accelerated its work for the new Civi 4 series in the flagship category with its ambitious price. The series to be introduced on March 21 is expected to include Xiaomi Civi 4 and Civi 4 Pro. In the latest post from the company, it was reported that the Civi 4 Pro will have a Leica-supported camera setup.
Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will be equipped with Leica Summilux
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will be equipped with Leica Summilux, similar to the one found on the 12 Pro. The f/1.63 lens with a wide aperture will make low-light shots more successful thanks to its special glass structure. The lens will be combined with a 50 Megapixel OmniVision Light Fusion 800 sensor.
The 1/1.55-inch sensor has a pixel size of 2.0μm and promises to capture detailed photos in high-contrast environments. It looks like it will be the same sensor seen in the Xiaomi 12 Pro introduced late last year. While slightly smaller than the 12 Pro, it will stand out with its high-contrast image quality.
In addition to the camera features, Civi 4 Pro will also offer improved colors, details and night photography from the camera app. It will offer optimized shooting modes and image processing support for the Leica lens. The circular camera module has also been enlarged to include a flash.
The device will feature a 6.55-inch OLED panel with 2400×1080 resolution, offering 120 Hz refresh and 240 Hz touch sampling rate. It will also feature 12-bit color depth and high-frequency PWM dimming.
Civi 4 Pro will be one of the first smartphones powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The 4nm architecture chipset has one Cortex-X4 main core running at 3.01 GHz, four Cortex-A720 performance cores running at 2.8 GHz and three Cortex-A520 efficiency cores running at 1.84 GHz.
