A startup company called Teevee Corporation announced its plans to release televisions that people can go to the store and obtain for free.
Operating under the motto “the biggest innovation after the color screen for televisions,” the company aims to cover product costs through advertising and will not charge customers for the free television project. Here are the details:
What is this free television all about?
According to the report published by Teevee Corporation, the project aims to free users from device costs and provide a continuous and smart revenue plan. A second screen on the device will be dedicated entirely to displaying ads non-stop. As a result, the cost of the television and the financial values required for the company’s future will be provided by advertisers instead of users.
Having a second screen on our televisions constantly displaying ads is not a situation we’re used to. However, journalist Janko Roettgers suggests that the screen in question won’t be too bothersome since it will be about the size of an average smartphone.
The first products of the free television project are expected to hit stores later this year. When the televisions are released, all you’ll need to do to obtain one is go to a participating location and pick it up without paying any fees.
