Logitech G RS50 Wheelbase and RS Pedals Debut with 8 Nm Torque

Logitech is stepping up its sim racing gear. The new G RS50 wheelbase and RS pedals slot neatly between the entry-level G923/G920 and the high-end Pro DD11, offering stronger force feedback and a more customizable pedal setup.

The RS50 wheelbase is a direct drive system with Logitech’s Trueforce technology. It delivers up to 8 Nm of peak torque, more than double what the G923 setup offers. With 2,700 degrees of rotation, the wheelbase adapts to everything from arcade racers to serious sims.

Mounting is flexible as well. It can clamp to a desk for casual setups, or bolt into a dedicated sim rig using the included T-nuts and bolts. Versions are available for Xbox/PC or PlayStation/PC, and it works with all RS and Pro accessories.

Tesla Rethinks Door Handles Amid Safety Probes and China Ban

Tesla plans to replace its flush handles and hidden emergency levers as new regulations and safety probes challenge its signature design.

The RS pedals are built for precision. The throttle uses a Hall effect sensor for accurate distance measurement, while the brake pedal employs a 75 kg load cell that reads pressure instead of just travel. This allows finer control during heavy braking zones.

The pedal base offers adjustability, letting players move pedals closer together or further apart. A clutch pedal is available separately, expanding the set to three pedals.

With a starting price of $350, the Logitech G RS50 wheelbase and RS pedals provide a compelling mid-tier upgrade for sim racers. They carry more torque, better braking, and broader compatibility than Logitech’s entry-level gear, while keeping the brand’s familiar software ecosystem intact.

For racers chasing realism without jumping straight into premium rigs, the RS50 setup could hit the sweet spot.
