In recent years, technology giants have focused on artificial intelligence. Apple is one of them. It has been known for a long time that the US manufacturer has been working on productive artificial intelligence for iOS, the operating system of iPhones.
It was even rumored that the company would introduce productive AI-supported features with the iOS 18 update. Many claims have been made about this in recent days. The latest claim about artificial intelligence has lowered users’ expectations for iOS 18.
Apple will not offer productive artificial intelligence with iOS 18
Reliable Apple source Mark Gurman claimed that Apple will not introduce generative AI with iOS 18, contrary to previous rumors. It was known that the company would offer a ChatGPT-like chat bot with generative AI. It was even rumored that it was at the table with companies such as Google and OpenAI.
However, according to the source, Apple did not give up on the AI-powered chatbot project. So it was only postponed. Accordingly, we can see the new artificial intelligence tool with iOS 19, which is expected to be released in 2025. Of course, it is worth remembering that all this information is just a claim.
Apple will introduce iOS 18 at the WWDC 2024 event and then make it available. This event, which is held every year, will be held online between June 10-14 this year. Aside from iOS 18, operating systems such as iPadOS 18, macOS 15 and watchOS 11 are also expected to be introduced.
