How durable are the 11- and 13-inch iPad Pro?
A YouTuber gave the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro a durability test. The results were generally successful. When bent horizontally, there was no damage to the cases or screens of the iPad Pros. This means that the hardness plate inside the devices was successful.
But it turns out that the 13-inch iPad Pro doesn’t hold up well vertically. The YouTuber observed that when he tried to bend the tablet vertically, the thin area next to the USB-C port cracked. Still, Apple could fix this problem by reinforcing the area around the USB-C port.
The most striking point of the durability test was the 13-inch iPad Pro’s OLED display. The OLED panel’s resistance to direct heat from a flame did not go unnoticed. It should be noted that most OLED displays are not heat resistant. The tandem OLED design used by Apple was fine, even though it burned for a few seconds.
Apple says it offers its thinnest devices since the iPod Nano. It will come in two color options, Silver and Space Black. It also has a 100 percent recycled aluminum finish.
