Last May, Apple introduced the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro devices with the new M4 processor. After about 6 months of waiting, the introduction date of M4 Mac devices was announced.
Macs with M4 processor will be introduced this Monday
It is currently known that Apple will not hold a special event on Monday to introduce the new M4 processor Mac devices. However, both Macs with M4 processors and Apple Intelligence with iOS 18.1 are expected to arrive this week. Apple will introduce the new Macs this Monday, 28 October 2024, directly by Greg Joswiak, the company’s vice president of marketing. In his post on X, Joswiak said, Your Mac (😉) calendars! An exciting week of announcements awaits us starting Monday morning. Stay tuned … he makes a statement as follows. Although vice president Joswiak does not directly say Macs with M4 processors, it is thought from past leaks that future Macs will come with the M4 processor.
No exact information about the announcement was given, but some users think that the introduction will be made at the same time as the release of Apple Intelligence. However, it is known that Apple invited some analysts such as Mark Gurman to the event in Los Angeles. Apple is expected to introduce the new MacBook Pro, new iMac, new Mac mini devices on Monday, respectively. According to leaks, the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 processor is expected to have three Thunderbolt 4 ports and come with 10 core CPU and 10 core GPU. Computers with 14 and 16-inch M4 Pro and M4 Max processors are not expected to have any changes other than performance increase.
In the new M4 processor iMac, the CPU and GPU are expected to have 10 cores and start from at least 16 GB model option. The new Mac mini is expected to be smaller than the current model. Some analysts think that the size of the new Mac mini could be as big as an Apple TV. Apart from these, the Mac mini is expected to be updated with M4 and M4 Pro processors and is expected to have at least 10 core CPU and 10 core GPU.
