Apple launched the new MacBook Pro 14 and 16, and Mac mini last week with pre-orders. While the new devices became popular around the world, people pre-ordered these Macs as soon as possible. Now, the tech giant starts shipping the pre-ordered devices, and the new Macs are now available for pickup at Apple Stores in the U.S. and 26 more countries. New MacBook Pro and Mac mini are now available
If you didn’t pre-order the new Apple products, you don’t need to worry. You can now buy the new MacBook Pro models and Mac mini at Apple Stores in the U.S. and select other countries, including Europe, and India. Also, you can buy the product on Apple’s website or in the Apple Store app by selecting the pickup date. When you completed the process, you are now ready to get your new device.
Apple offers pickup dates for many standard configurations on January 26, but you need to wait at least February 10 to get your device with custom configurations. Apple says,
“The new MacBook Pro models with M2 Pro and M2 Max are available to order today, January 17, on apple.com/store and in the Apple Store app in 27 countries and regions, including the US. They will begin arriving to customers and will be in Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers starting Tuesday, January 24. MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max will be available in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, and Singapore beginning Friday, February 3.”
While the new Mac mini is available with M2 and M2 Pro chip options, the Pro models feature M2 Pro or M2 Max chip options. Apple claims, the new Pros offer up to 20% faster CPU performance and up to 30% faster graphics compared to the Macs with M1 chipset. The new products have the support of up to 96GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI 2.1 port with support for up to an 8K external display, and more.
The new MacBook Pro starts at $1,999 for the 14-inch model and $2,499 for the 16-inch model, while the new Mac mini starts at $599. Additional technical specifications, configure-to-order options, and accessories are available on Apple’s website.
