BMX has pulled the wraps off its new magnetic power bank, and it checks more boxes than expected. Called the SolidSafe, this compact charger packs solid-state battery tech, fast wireless charging, and even an optional microSD card slot all while staying travel-friendly.

Unlike most power banks using lithium-ion or polymer batteries, the SolidSafe opts for safer, next-gen solid-state cells. BMX claims these offer better thermal control and lower fire risk, addressing long-standing safety concerns in portable chargers.
The power bank comes in three variants: 5,000 mAh, 10,000 mAh, and a 10,000 mAh version with a built-in microSD card slot for added storage.

Beyond the battery upgrade, the magnetic power bank includes smart usability features. A USB-C lanyard cable is integrated directly into the design and supports both charging and data transfer. A bright, full-color LCD shows real-time metrics like:
- Battery percentage
- Wattage draw
- Charging status

SolidSafe supports wide device compatibility
The SolidSafe works seamlessly with most major phones that support USB-C or magnetic wireless charging. That includes:

The 5K and standard 10K variants are already available on BMX’s official site. The microSD-enabled version will launch in February 2026.
