Major Update Incoming for Nano Banana!

Ana sayfa / News

As advancements in the world of artificial intelligence continue at full throttle, Google’s popular chatbot is taking its visual capabilities to the next level. According to the latest leaks, images created with Gemini’s powerful Nano Banana model family will soon benefit from much more comprehensive editing options.

New Editing Tools for Images Generated via Nano Banana

In the current system, users can edit photos uploaded from their gallery or camera using basic markup tools. However, the options for images generated directly by the chatbot remained quite limited. A deep dive into the latest beta version of the Google app (17.10.54.sa.arm64) by Android Authority revealed a massive upgrade coming to this interface. While previously only “Text” and “Sketch” options were available, new “Resize” and “Effects” tools are now being tested in the development stage.

Resizing and the New Dynamic Text Box

The Resize tool will allow users to easily switch between formats such as Square, Portrait, and Landscape. While the Effects feature is still in the very early stages of development and not yet active, the real innovation lies in the improved user interface (UI) workflow.

Currently, to describe an edit to the AI, users have to exit the markup screen and return to the main chat. The developing interface solves this by adding a dynamic text box directly onto the editing page. This allows users to type their desired changes immediately, significantly accelerating the creative process. While the official rollout date for all users remains uncertain, these features are set to make AI-based visual production far more functional.

What are your thoughts on these new AI-powered visual editing tools? Will the ability to resize and edit within the same window change how you use Nano Banana for your projects? Share your views in the comments!
