A man in Western Australia was fined for charging his EV from a council power box. The man was fined $500 by the police. Hidden CCTV images captured the 78-year-old Cranbrook man using the power box to top up his electric vehicle. Cops fined the man on Friday.

Some said that what the car owner did was wrong, while others said that there were not enough approved charging points in the area. Some said that the driver should adjust his route to pass through approved charging points, even if they are few. Others in the comments suggested that the region is not suitable for EV.
