Ana sayfa / News

Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and CEO of Meta, recently made notable statements regarding his new stance in the business world and his past mistakes. Zuckerberg indicated that he will now avoid taking on too much responsibility and will stop apologizing continuously.

The conversation started from a gaffe made during a podcast with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, which also revealed Zuckerberg’s new perspective on business. He admitted to learning from his mistakes, particularly in politics, and acknowledged that he had previously taken on too much responsibility for issues he believed were beyond Facebook’s control.

Zuckerberg described his biggest mistake as a ‘political miscalculation,’ a mistake spanning over 20 years. He confessed that he had taken excessive responsibility for problems he believed were outside Facebook’s control.

Shocking Admission from Facebook: “Yes, we use your photos…”

With global concerns surrounding the training of artificial intelligence models, Facebook has made an unexpected confession.

He also addressed past criticisms, especially targeting Facebook’s alleged role in the 2016 US presidential election. The Cambridge Analytica scandal and the use of the platform by foreign actors to fuel political division severely damaged Facebook’s reputation and led to Zuckerberg’s testimony before Congress.

Zuckerberg mentioned that he now approaches these issues more balanced and will stand firmer against political pressures. He admitted that during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Facebook’s measures against misinformation and government pressure influenced his actions, and he should have spoken out more during that period.

As a result of this new policy, Zuckerberg noted that special restrictions on Trump’s social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram have been lifted as the 2024 elections approach.
