Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which met with PS5 players in October 2023 and received very good feedback from both critics and players, is getting ready to meet PC players after only 1 year. Here’s the official release date and what you need to know about the game…
Spider-Man 2 is coming January 2025!
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, one of PlayStation’s favorite exclusive games, is coming to the PC platform. Developed by Insomniac Games and released for PlayStation 5 in October 2023, the successful production will meet PC players on Steam and Epic Games Store on January 30, 2025.
The PC port of the game is being handled by Nixxes Software, who also handled the successful PC adaptations of previous games in the series, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and the successful PC adaptation of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Nixxes’ Community Manager Julian Huijbregts has officially announced that the PC version will come with various technical improvements, including enhanced ray tracing options.
This move seems to be a continuation of PlayStation’s recent PC strategy. The company, which previously brought popular PlayStation titles such as God of War and Ghost of Tsushima to the PC platform a year or two after their release, continues to expand its network in the gaming world.
How will the Spider-Man 4 scenario be: Tom Holland reveals!
On the other hand, hopes for the long-awaited Venom DLC seem to have been officially dashed. Insomniac Games has officially announced that they have no plans for additional story content for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Last but not least, let’s add this: The PlayStation Network account requirement, which has recently been mandatory for PlayStation’s PC versions, may be a matter of discussion in Spider-Man 2, as it was in God of War Ragnarök.
