Furthermore, it is stated that Mercedes maintains its leadership in the premium segment with 6,550 units sold. While the year 2023 was also quite positive for the brand, achieving such success in 2024 seems likely to have a positive impact on the company’s financial situation.
Şükrü Bekdikhan, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Otomotiv, stated that they will launch new electric models this year and aim to increase the share of these models in total sales to 20%.
Highlighting their plans to sell the highly anticipated Electric G-Class in the Turkish market in the third quarter of 2024, Bekdikhan expressed satisfaction with the sales figures of EQB and EQS models. It is also noted that the brand aims to contribute to the development of the electric car sector in the country.
