Meta AI Can Now Perform Lip Syncing
During the developer conference, Meta made several announcements about its AI tool, Meta AI. Initially built on the Llama 3 framework, it has now been updated with Llama 3.2, bringing in new capabilities.
Meta’s AI assistant can now respond with voice on platforms such as Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Facebook. The standout feature is that these responses can be delivered using the voices of famous personalities. Currently, the available celebrity voices include Awkwafina, Dame Judi Dench, Keegan-Michael Key, and Kristen Bell, with John Cena expected to be added soon.
Though Meta is positioning itself as a competitor to ChatGPT, it seems to be lagging behind OpenAI’s advanced voice mode. However, Meta AI has introduced several new functionalities, including image analysis, interpretation, and identification.
The AI assistant now allows users to send images during chats and request modifications. For example, it can change backgrounds, add objects, or animals. Additionally, the tool can analyze photos before sharing them on Instagram, auto-dub sounds for Reels, and even synchronize lip movements with a new language.
