Announcing that he will work with A24 Studios, Kojima stated that the film will be a more artistic production that does not comply with Hollywood standards.
In an interview with Famitsu magazine, the famous game producer stated that he will not be involved as a director in this project, but will directly contribute to the story and production process.
Kojima said that many major Hollywood studios offered him a high-budget ‘explosive’ film, but he turned them down. Instead, he chose A24 Studios, known for its independent and creative productions.
The famous producer said, ‘Although other film companies approach me with big budgets and lots of explosive scenes, I don’t want to make such a film. I want to make a slightly different film with A24.’
