Microsoft Edge brings secondary search bar!

Ana sayfa / Software

Microsoft’s internet browser Edge is getting ready to offer its users a new feature. Allegedly, Microsoft is planning to add a second search box next to Edge’s address bar.

Microsoft Edge, Windows’ default browser, adds a new feature. Edge, which is preparing to add a Firefox-like second search bar next to the address bar, aims to offer easier use to its users. So what does this second search bar do?

At first glance, it seems to everyone that they can enter two different URLs. However, according to the explanations, the URL will not be entered in the new search bar. The second search bar, which can be used to search on engines such as Google and Bing, will offer suggested searches at the bottom, just like in search engines. When you click on these suggestions, the page you want will be opened in a new tab.

Although this step taken by Microsoft may seem unnecessary to many users, it is an important step forward in terms of increasing productivity. This feature, which allows users to make calls without leaving the screen they are viewing, also minimizes distractions. So the main goal is not to distract from your main mission.

How do you like Microsoft Edge’s second search bar feature? We welcome your opinions in the comments.
