According to the information provided, Microsoft Edge tracks the images you view in the background and sends them to Microsoft. This feature, which raises concerns about privacy, can be turned off. If you are a Microsoft Edge user, you should disable this setting!

The built-in image enhancement technology in the Edge browser is used to improve the clarity, sharpness, color, and contrast of images on websites. Although this technology enhances the user experience, recent updates from Microsoft Edge reveal that this technology poses a privacy threat in the background. The browser now sends the images users view directly to Microsoft and performs the enhancement processes on a remote server instead of directly improving them.

To protect privacy, users should disable this feature, which is enabled by default. To disable the feature:

Launch Edge and open the main menu.
Click on “Settings” and select “Privacy, Search, and Services.”
Scroll down and find the option “Enhance images in Microsoft Edge.”
When you turn off this option, the feature in question will be disabled.
