The issue first emerged in Australia, where banks, airlines, and TV broadcasters began reporting offline machines. The problem has since been confirmed to impact Microsoft systems globally as similar issues arose in firms across different regions.

For instance, Sky News in the UK was unable to broadcast its morning news due to the outage, displaying an apology message on the screen. The problem is also reportedly affecting some companies in Turkey.

Although CrowdStrike has retracted the update, it seems the affected devices remain unresolved. The company has identified the problem and is continuing to work on it.
