Recently, Microsoft announced that Forza Horizon 4 will be discontinued by the end of 2024 and will be removed from the Game Pass subscription system. To compensate for this, Microsoft is distributing free Horizon 4 codes, especially to players who have previously purchased expansion packs for the game.
Forza Horizon 4 code is given via email to players
As you may know, Microsoft stated recently that Forza Horizon 4 will be removed from the Microsoft Store and won’t be available on Game Pass starting December 2024. If you haven’t purchased the game, you won’t be able to play it after this date.
According to the latest updates, Microsoft has started sending free game codes to all players who purchased any DLC for Horizon 4 before June 25. If you’ve bought any DLC but haven’t received a code yet, you can contact Xbox support to request one.
While Microsoft’s gesture of providing free game codes might appease some players, the removal of a game that’s only been on the market for 6 years seems to have disappointed many. Forza Horizon 4, one of the most successful open-world racing games, will soon be delisted from stores following the release of the next game in the series.
What are your thoughts on this? Did Microsoft’s gesture please you? Share your opinions with us in the comments.
