Recently, the world’s largest companies have been the focus of attention with news of layoffs. One of these companies is Microsoft. The company, which parted ways with thousands of people last year, is now downsizing in the Gaming department. Accordingly, hundreds of Microsoft, Activision Blizzard and Xbox employees are being laid off.

In the last few months, many companies, from Google to Amazon, from Discord to Spotify, from Meta to game developer Naughty Dog, have made layoffs affecting a significant number of people. Microsoft, which laid off 10 thousand people last year, is taking the same step again.

Microsoft Gaming President Phil Spencer announced in a message to employees that they decided to restructure the workforce for Xbox, Activision Blizzard and ZeniMax. In this context, it was announced that 1900 people from the team of 22 thousand people will be laid off.
