Smith continued by mentioning the rise observed in manufacturing, automotive, financial services, and pharmaceutical sectors in the European region, emphasizing the need for Germany to adapt to the massive potential of the artificial intelligence trend, combined with its advanced technology.
Leading German companies like Siemens and Bayer have long been known to utilize Microsoft’s cloud computing systems. Now, these companies are starting to benefit from artificial intelligence technologies to gain a competitive edge. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed his satisfaction with Microsoft’s billion-dollar investment, stating that these technologies would contribute to the country’s economic growth.
Scholz also highlighted Germany’s status as a prime location for technology investments and expressed hope that other American companies would follow Microsoft’s lead. Microsoft also announced its plans to provide digital literacy training to 1.2 million personnel by 2025 and to enable them to utilize artificial intelligence capabilities more effectively, aiming to increase artificial intelligence productivity in the European region. Additionally, it is rumored that Amazon also plans to increase its investments in this region, following Microsoft’s example.
