A month ago, the company proposed the Activision Blizzard acquisition. Now, Microsoft announces the details about the upcoming mobile game store. Additionally, the head of the company’s gaming part shared that the plan is dependent on the $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
The Xbox chief Phil Spencer also says, “We want to be in a position to offer Xbox and content from both us and our third-party partners across any screen where somebody would want to play. Today, we can’t do that on mobile devices, but we want to build towards a world that we think will be coming where those devices are opened up.”
When we check Microsoft’s announcement, we can understand that the next-generation game store will be a competitor to Apple and Google’s mobile gaming stores.
