
Samsung is preparing to expand its mid-range Galaxy A series with two new models. According to information from China, the tech giant will introduce the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 models in mid-March. This means the launch will occur shortly after the release of the Galaxy S25 series.
What will the Galaxy A56 and A36 offer?
Industry sources have provided various details about the launch date of the Galaxy A56 and A36. It is reported that Samsung will begin promotional campaigns for the new smartphones in February.

Leaks suggest that the Galaxy A56 will come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, supported by 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
In terms of camera features, the Galaxy A56 will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. This setup will include a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. On the front, it will have a 12MP selfie camera.
The Galaxy A56 will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It is also expected to come with Android 15 out of the box in March.
Details about the Galaxy A36 remain unclear. It is expected to feature a 6.64-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The A36 will likely be powered by either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or 7s Gen 2 chipset, and is expected to have a 50MP main camera and a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
