Minecraft is getting ready to face players with one of the biggest visual updates in its 15-year history. Mojang announced that with this new update called “Vibrant Visuals”, the game will maintain its classic look while integrating modern graphic features such as dynamic lighting, volumetric lighting effects and shadows. The comprehensive update will significantly renew Minecraft’s atmosphere and add a more realistic experience to the game in terms of visuals.
Minecraft will receive a graphic update soon
Within the scope of the Vibrant Visuals update, each block will create dynamic shadows depending on the direction of the light source. Light reflections will be visible on reflective surfaces such as metal and water surfaces. The sun, on the other hand, will experience the biggest change in the game, leaving its simple block form and emitting volumetric light to the environment, providing a more realistic effect.

Translucent objects also get their share of these innovations. Grass and leaves will appear with a subtle glow effect under light; glass blocks will react dynamically to the passage of light. However, the update will be available primarily for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition during the beta period.
Mojang has not yet made a clear statement about the platforms that will receive early access, but it has been confirmed that Java Edition users will receive this update after the full release. The Vibrant Visuals update aims to bring Minecraft’s visuals to a more modern level by appealing to a wide range of players.
