ZTE’s Nubia brand continues to present itself to users with gaming-focused models, and the Red Magic 9 Pro, which has been in the spotlight for a while, is one of them. While the smartphone’s technical specifications and design are expected to appeal to mobile gamers, a recent development reveals the unveiling date of the device.
A date has been given for Red Magic 9 Pro
It has been officially announced that the Red Magic 9 Pro will be available to users on November 23. This means that the smartphone will be released a month earlier than its predecessor. In addition, the performance test results of the device provide critical information about what users can expect in terms of performance.
The smartphone appeared in the Geekbench 6.1.0 database with the model number NX769J. In the single-core tests, the device managed to score 2,293, and in the multi-core tests, it scored 7,214. The main reason behind the device achieving such high scores is, as already known, the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for its newly introduced processor. The processor, produced with 4nm technology, features 1 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, 3 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, 2 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, and 2 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores. The company includes the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support in the new chip.
The new processor provides a 30% increase in performance compared to its predecessor. Moreover, there is a 20% increase in energy efficiency. On the graphics side, there is a 25% faster image processing and similarly, a 25% increase in energy efficiency. Furthermore, it offers 40% better Ray Tracing performance.
