Nothing OS 3.0 will strengthen the user experience
If we want to talk about the appearance side first before moving on to the artificial intelligence features, Nothing will change the design in the automatic brightness setting along with the Quick Settings panel in the operating system and the clock on the lock screen.
The dot design is an animation that we are used to on Nothing phones, and with OS 3.0, more fluid and dynamic visual effects will be introduced for this feature. In addition to fingerprint and charging animations, the weather app will also be updated with a dot animation.
The update, which will give more intensity on the design side, will facilitate the interaction of widgets on the main screen and more advanced features will be offered for editing in the Gallery application. In addition, with the update, device performance will be improved by increasing optimisation. In this way, applications will open faster and animations will be smooth.
On the artificial intelligence side, the smart drawer feature that can categorise apps into different categories has been added. Automatic image categorisation and natural language search support are also available. In addition, AI zoom, super resolution, and AI image creation features will be available in the coming months.
Nothing OS 3.0 open beta will begin in October and the stable version will be available in December 2024. The list of devices and availability times will be announced soon.
