Mortal Kombat Games will be removed from market!

Ana sayfa / News

News from NetherRealm Studio, the developer behind Mortal Kombat and Injustice, suggests that the company is shutting down its mobile games division, leaving an unknown number of employees out of work. If these reports prove true, the company’s mobile games will be removed from the market soon.

According to QA analyst Tony Lazzara, NetherRealm’s mobile team will soon officially shut down. Lazzara did not specify the reasons for the closure or the number of employees affected.

While Lazzara’s report is currently the only source of information about the studio’s closure, three different NetherRealm employees have confirmed this information. One of the other developers was also seen applying for jobs on LinkedIn.

Mortal Kombat 1 May 22 Update Patch Notes

May 7 update has just launched for one of the most popular games of all time, Mortal Kombat 1. Here are the details.

With NetherRealm yet to make an official statement, the future of the studio’s mobile games remains uncertain. However, it is expected that games like Mortal Kombat Mobile and Injustice 2 will be removed from both iOS and Android platforms soon.

Warner Bros’ gaming division is currently experiencing a tumultuous period. On one hand, the release of “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” in February was a major disappointment, leading to a $200 million loss for WB. On the other hand, last year’s single-player RPG “Hogwarts Legacy” has served as a savior for WB Games, selling millions of copies.

The timing of these news is quite intriguing, as Mortal Kombat received one of its biggest updates on mobile platforms just this week. We eagerly await further updates from the company.
