Last year in June, Elon Musk reached 100 million followers on Twitter and set a new record. He took the title of the person with the most followers on the Twitter platform from Barack Obama.
Elon Musk now has the most followers on Twitter
Since purchasing Twitter, Musk has been experiencing a difficult financial period. However, he has been receiving more interaction and has obtained the title of having the highest number of followers with 133,068,000. Barack Obama has fallen to second place with a total of 133,042,000 followers. Musk’s follower count, who publishes significant announcements about Tesla and SpaceX from his account, continues to increase exponentially.
Musk’s sharing habits are considered to be entirely different from Obama’s, who primarily uses his account for professional purposes such as supporting an essential cause or highlighting some of the work he has done as president. This is also true for the third and fourth most followed accounts, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.
Twitter’s new homepage design, which was released last year, received criticism from many users. Musk announced that they would update the “For You” tab on the homepage, and only verified accounts would appear in suggested tweets.
